聚酰胺：
（PA）是分子主链上含有重复酰胺基团的热塑性树脂，俗称尼龙(Nylon)或锦纶，是世界上出现的第一种合成纤维，具有良好的综合性能，包括力学性能、耐热性、耐磨损性、耐化学药品性和自润滑性，且摩擦系数低，有一定的阻燃性，密度为1.15 g/cm³，是美国DuPont公司开发用于纤维的树脂，于1939年实现工业化。聚酰胺包括脂肪族PA、脂肪—芳香族PA和芳香族PA，其中脂肪族PA品种多、产量大、应用广泛，其命名由合成单体具体的碳原子数而定。聚酰胺用作塑料时称尼龙，用作合成纤维时称为锦纶，可制成长纤或短纤，在穿着的过程中比较耐磨。
