CMPC Bird Brand Bleached Eucalyptus Kraft Hardwood Pulp (BEKP) Introduction

CMPC Bird pulp is the well-known hardwood pulp brand owned by Empresas CMPC S.A., a leading pulp manufacturer from South America. Its mainstream production base is the Guaíba Mill in Brazil, with another production line located in Santa Fe Mill, ChileCMPC Pulp.

This pulp is manufactured from cultivated eucalyptus including Eucalyptus saligna, E. grandis, E. dunni and hybrid eucalyptus species, adopting kraft cooking plus Elemental Chlorine-Free (ECF) bleaching technology. Supplied in compressed dry pulp sheet bales, it is traded globally with the standard settlement unit of ADMT (Air Dried Metric Ton).
